The municipality of Valdoviño is located at the northwest from Galicia, near from Ferrol. The limits of Valdoviño are Cedeira (North), Narón (South), Cerdido and San Sadurniño (West) and Atlantic Ocean (East). It coast is between Prior Cape and Candieira Point.

The main roads are AC-556, from Narón and Ferrol to Cedeira, across to Valdoviño, and AC-116, between the same villages, but crossing Meirás.

The only public transportation is bus of Monbus company, with travels from Ferrol to Valdoviño and to Cedeira. In Ferrol exists bus and train terminal. From here you can go to the biggest cities from Galicia and Spain. The nearest airports are in A Coruña and Santiago de Compostela.
